Meet the 15-Year-Old Taking Responsibility for Water in Her Village

With every project that Charity: Water implements, they require communities to elect a team of 5 – 8 members that make up a “Water Committee” to maintain the water point, develop a business plan so they can purchase parts for future repairs and help educate the community about sanitation and hygiene. 15-year-old Natalia is President of her committee in rural Mozambique, and exercises her responsibility to empower other girls in the community.
